Review of Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach

Four Seasons Palm Beach is a relatively small Resort only four floors high, offering 210 rooms and suites distributed throughout 3 buildings that form a U around the pool area and beach access.   The deluxe rooms are elegant, all with private balconies.  There is a tub and a separate shower in the marble bathroom and a single sink vanity in this room category.  Suites have double sinks in the bathroom vanity.  If you are travelling with the children, rooms have either a King bed or 2 doubles (no rollaways allowed in rooms with 2 doubles).  If you need more space, connecting rooms are phenomenal because they offer a private foyer created by the single external door to the corridor, making the living area feel much larger and more convenient.  There is no self parking on this property.  Overnight parking is $27.00 per night.

Delivered to the room were the cutest bento boxes for the children with dessert in the form of rice crispy treats rolled to look like pieces of sushi and cups of cold milk.

The beach is pristine and complimentary chaises, sunscreen, lotion and flavored water are provided here, and at the poolside.

The food at the newly re-designed “Graze” restaurant is very good.  The menu is varied and casual.  I enjoyed a crispy duck confit salad with poached pears and coriander vinaigrette dressing.  Also notable are the herb frites with truffle oil.  Kid’s menu has the usual suspects – hot dogs, hamburgers e.t.c.

The Spa is a huge 11,000 square ft space with 11 treatments rooms.  Even if you don’t opt for a spa service, try to utilize the complimentary access to the wonderful sauna, showers and relaxation areas.

Worth Avenue is a 15-minute drive from the Hotel along the beautiful South Ocean Blvd (A1A).  This is a favorite route for me.  I love to look at the grand homes that line the road.

There are only 10 suites at this Hotel so if you book a Premier Room in hope of a “Suite Upgrade”, please be aware that the chances of this happening are slim.  Always book the room category you want the most at any hotel.  Upgrades are not guaranteed unless specifically stated upon booking.

There is no Resort Fee charged at this property.  The Room rate includes the following complimentary amenities:

  • Access to the fitness club – complimentary fruit and juices available
  • Daily fitness classes
  • Complimentary meals off the Kid’s menu for children under the age of 5
  • Kids for All Seasons Program – Thurs to Tue from 9 AM to 5 PM
  • Teen Room with a Pool Table and TV, along with an assortment of video games
  • Bicycles for exploring the area
  • Coffee and Tea service in the lobby between 6:30 AM and 8.00 AM
  • Seasonal Resort shuttle to Worth Avenue and City Place (downtown West Palm Beach)
From June 15th , 2013- Sep 30th, 2013 the Four Seasons Palm Beach is offering a complimentary third night with every two consecutive paid nights in addition to Preferred Partner Amenities – Daily full American breakfast for 2, Food & Beverage credit of $100, upgrade of one category based on availability upon arrival.
