Ava and I had the pleasure of attending the “Mini Masters” Culinary Event with award-winning Executive Chef Joan Monfaredi at the Park Hyatt Toronto on the 20th July. The children in the group received Chef Hats that they decorated themselves and personalized aprons. They spent the morning in the kitchen preparing hand-rolled Pappardelle and meatballs, and learning to decorate dessert plates. This was the perfect vacation treat for Ava who loves to cook and interact with all things “chocolate”. Her dessert plate was a chocolate masterpiece! Kudos to the Park Hyatt and Chef Joan for hosting such a family-friendly event culminating in a delicious sit-down luncheon with an imaginative and healthy sharing menu.
